QUICK REFERENCE
Before you start, check your parts, tools and safety setup.
WATCH THE VIDEO FIRST
Watch the full Yamaha installation video and download the PDF guide so you understand the hitch replacement, positioning and release setup before you begin.
POSITION JETCATCH®
Place the unit in the correct area for your jet ski model and check that it sits straight, clear and easy to access.
MARK THE MOUNTING POINTS
Once the position is confirmed, mark the mounting holes clearly. Recheck alignment before moving to the drill.
DRILL AND FIT THE BRACKET
Drill carefully, then secure the bracket and hardware as shown in the video. Do not overtighten before checking the fit.
SET THE BUNGEE AND RELEASE
Connect the bungee and release point so there is enough tension for retrieval without catching on nearby parts.
TEST BEFORE LAUNCHING
Test the release several times on land. Make sure the movement is smooth and the jet ski can launch and retrieve cleanly.
